Wound – Charcoal drawing, performance, sculpture December 2024

A repetitive process of drawing, cutting and winding up. The title can be read as both Wound and Wound. This piece is being continued throughout 2025 as each strip is made into a small sketchbook housing a one line poem written each week.

“I” – Charcoal drawing, performance and sculpture, December 2024/ January 2025

Inspired by the desolate and stripped back landscape seen in Winter this artwork goes on a journey from drawing to sculptural piece and eventually through to ashes. All that remains is a small piece of the drawing shaped like a heart.
